JOIN US ONCE AGAIN IN 2010 AT THE CALGARY STAMPEDE

Now in our 11th year, the Chicks are once again on the chuckwagon tarp alongside Heninger Toyota. Our signature PINK will be seen each night from July 9 - 18 going around the track with our driver Rick Fraser. Rick did very well in the standings last year and let's cheer him on this year to the winning title of the Rangeland Derby. Chickwagon! Foundation will also continue the tradition of raising money for the YWCA through their annual art auction scheduled for July 18, 2010 at the Hotel Arts.

In addition to participating in the 2010 Calgary Stampede and Rangeland Derby, Chickwagon! Foundation will also participate in the High River chuckwagon races with driver Luke Tourner. Along with our corporate sponsor in High River, Metal Port Steel, Chickwagon! Foundation will look to raise funds for the building and opening of High River's first women's shelter, Rowen House.

To sponsor the sport of chuckwagon racing, to provide women with the opportunity for professional and personal growth and to create a living legacy through community involvement.

Our Goals

1. Sponsor a chuckwagon tarp at the Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby

2. Increase Community involvement

3. Increase membership to 150

4. Provide education, networking and socializing opportunities for members

5. Provide a forum through which informal mentorship can take place

6. Raise funds for the Chickwagon! Trust Fund: a partnership with the YWCA of Calgary to stop the cycle of family violence.

7. Raise funds for the University of Calgary Chickwagon! Scholarship
